Dutch as a second language (NT2)

Whether you have moved to the Netherlands for work, study or private reasons, you need to be able to speak and write Dutch. Werken met Taal [Working with Language] will help you bring your Dutch verbal and writing skills up to speed. We provide Dutch as a second language courses [Nederlands als tweede taal (NT2)] at all levels: from absolute beginner up to near-native. You will be taught by a teacher who is certified by the Beroepsvereniging van docenten Nederlands als Tweede Taal (BVNT2) [Professional Association of Teachers of Dutch as a Second Language].

State Exams Dutch as a Second Language

The State Exams Dutch as a Second Language [Staatsexamens Nederlands als tweede taal (NT2)] are official language proficiency exams for non-native adult speakers, that want to be able to prove their level of proficiency in Dutch. Do you want to pass het Staatsexamen NT2? Or do you need extensive knowledge of the Dutch language for business purposes? Our language courses are:

  • at any level: from absolute beginner up to advanced and near-native;
  • tailored to your needs: speaking, writing, as preparation for the State Exam NT2, or a combination of these;
  • at your own pace.
Cito Bureau ICE Good to know: you will be taught by a teacher who assesses State Exams NT2 at Cito and Bureau ICE. The Diploma State Exams NT2 is officially recognized by the Dutch government; for more details, follow this link.

  • Spelling: when do you use an -n or -s in a word, a hyphen, a capital letter and so on?
  • Grammar: d's and t's, hen or hun, dat or wat, active or passive and so on.
